Week 4 recap/Week 5 preview

Well I got my first money league win, no thanks to Ryan Grant. If there is a bigger fantasy disappoint this year let me know. My pick up of Slaton paid off big time.

I got the classic fuck job in my keeper league. I had the second highest scoring team this week, but my match up had the highest scoring team. That sucks knowing I would have beaten every other team in the league.

Onto week 5. This is where fantasy really sucks. Two of my two most productive guys have been Warner and Fitzgerald, and they are playing my favorite team the Bills this week. I don't see any way I can bench these guys. Especially at QB with my other 2 options being O'Sullivan and Palmer.

My other dilemma is what to do at RB and flex. My RB's are Addai, Graham, Slaton, and Grant. Addai is a no brainer. After watching Graham produce so far this season and watching what LJ did to the Denver run defense I'm leaning towards Graham. Slaton has a nice match up against the pourus Indy run defense and so does Grant against the Atlanta defense. Right now I'm leaning towards sitting Grant just because he has sucked so far, but my gut says he is due for a big game and Atlanta might provide that. Any thoughts or suggestions? Also, Roy Williams, Issac Bruce or Josh Reed for my second WR?

I'll have this weeks picks later in the week.

My thoughts would be Graham and Slaton at RB/Flex. Addai is a definite.

Detroit is awful, and therefore they will have to come from behind by throwing a ton. Williams as WR is my choice.

Other disappointments - Braylon Edwards, Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh at WR, Dallas Clark at TE, Carson Palmer/Derek Anderson at QB, McGahee at RB.

The only thing that makes me nervous about Williams this week is that they are playing the Bears.

BRAYLON EDWARDS.

I didn't understand why people were high on Grant this year anyway. Hello, it was all because of Brett Favre spreading out defenses!

G$, good point. As far as WR's go Edwards has been the worst that got a ton of hype.

gmoney are you really Peter King? You sho love you some Brett Favra!!

I would offer some advice but it would probably backfire just like my ingenious plan to pick up Cassel when Brady got hurt. I told myself, surely this guy will do well under Bellicheat's system. Yeah, he won't be a Brady, but he'll still be good.

I should have just jumped off a fuckin bridge right then. My fantasy QBs are as useful as a bag of dicks so far...

addai/graham/slaton are all good matchups, especially in PPR. you gotta play williams. you drafted him to be a good WR so you can't be afraid to play him now.
