Hamburgers

From time to time over at Walk Off Walk, the comments turn to talk of food. Yesterday hamburgers were being discussed. So I've decided to list my top 5 favorite hamburger chains.

5. 5 Guys
4. Checkers
3. Carls' Jr.
2. Whataburger
1. In-N-Out

The kick in the ass about this list is that only 5 Guys is available where I live. If I want In-N-Out I have to go to Cali, Nevada, or Arizona. Whataburger is in a bunch of states but only in the South and Southwest.

So not only do I have to put up with shitty weather here in upstate NY, I also have to deal with shitty fast food. Seriously, who do I have to kill up here for a Chipolte?

Checkers is so fucking dank - I don't care if their burgers immediately clog your arteries and each one of their fries shortens your life by several minutes.

Culver's is a fine establishment. Might be just a Midwest thing though.

Chipotle is disgusting.

@Doc, I stand by my decision.

@G$, Chiplote isn't that bad. although I would love a Baja Fresh up here. Culver's must be a midwest thing. I've never heard of it.

in-n-out is the best! it's worth crossing the country over, especially since they're usually right next to a krispy kreme. growing up in texas, whataburger was the joint.

i feel like i just attended 'fat people 101.' i hope i passed.

We've got 5 guys down here in Jax, alothough I've never tried it. As for the legendary In-N-Out I have heard nothing but amazing things about that joint. One day I'll have one....one day. I would also like to throw out an honorable mention to Krystal burgers because of their extended hours, sometimes 24/7, and how kick ass they are while completely drunk/stoned. I mean that's what I heard anyway.
